12 months a year, 7 days a week, the 26' Alloy Plate custom built JETTYWOLF takes you on a light tackle fishing adventure, on the salty St. Johns River and near-coastal waters from Amelia Island to Ponte Vedra Florida. 1-4 person depart from the fishing village of Mayport, near the Jacksonville Beaches. And just behind Mayport Naval Base. We leave from public docks 2.5 miles from the famed Mayport Inlet, where the St. Johns River that travels all the way through Florida goes into the Atlantic Ocean. Between the North and South giant granite rock Jetties that protect the inlet, and make it one of the nicest river mouths in all of Florida. Techinques are a N.E. Florida traditional fishing methode know as "Float-rigging", where we drift live shrimp in the current behind the boat, to tossing jigs and live baits and soft plastic lures for Speckled Trout, Redfish, Flounder, Sheepshead, Flounder and more. Bottom fishing when anchored over structure is also an effect and easy way to fish. Depending on the season, there's also Sharks "run & chum" fishing trips behind the many Shrimp boats outside the inlet. I also do a 2 hour up to 4 person KIDS trip. For the Junior fisherman, usually around 4-10 years of age, that normally can't do an all day trip. It's affordable and one of my most popular summer time trips. Manatees, Dolphins, Birds, Boats, Ships, Tugs, and catching a few fish for the kids is what the two hours can include. Charters are based on a 6 hr day, with 8 hour all day upon request. Shorter days can also be done. Company and/or Large Groups up to 12+ persons can be arranged by me. GIVEN, 45-60 days advance notice usually. 4 persons per boat is the max. Any more than 4 persons means an additional boat. No matter what kind of Fishing charter. 6 persons max for any sight seeing, or Coastal Park to Coastal Park tours, that I do and have there own rate. SINCE 1996, Capt Dave's Sport Fishing has provided yearly full-time charters, is US Coast Guard Licensed, and Insured.
