Hilton Head Sport Fishing, LLC is the island's most popular charter fishing company. The boats are the "Gullah Gal" and the "True Grits". Both are 34' Fly Bridge style fishing boats with clean restrooms and with lots of shade and protection form the weather. We fish both offshore and near shore. Typical fish caught are Monster Tiger, Bull & Black Tip Sharks, Barracuda, King & Spanish Mackerel, Cobia (Late Spring) and Big Bull Red Fish (Fall). My family has gone on many charters over the years and most have been good, but Captain Jeff on the True Grits showed us the most fun. He and mate Ben were super professional and very patient with my son (11) and daughter (14). Thanks Captain Jeff, the mackerel were delicious.
